The AAF Tank Museum is 330,000 square feet of tanks and military displays. On special days they have an event where they use a flamethrower to torch a dummy or small structure and have a tank run over a couple junker cars.
The museum is a mish-mash. Some displays are particularly gory. Part of the museum’s mission is to memorialize anyone from any country who died in war. They have Eva Braun’s cocktail dress. There are helmets, a taxidermied chicken, radio controlled tank fights, and more in the nooks and crannies.
And no apricots allowed in the museum — apricots have been banned from anywhere around tanks since around World War I. Any time there was a tank accident, they found rationed apricots or orange fruit.
