Luke and Bo Duke were good ole boys up to no good from 1979-1985. The wildly popular TV show followed the cousins getting into trouble while driving The General Lee. The General Lee was an orange Dodge Charger with a confederate flag painted on it.
One of the characters on the show was named Cooter. The actor Ben Jones loved playing Cooter so much that he opened two museum locations — one in Tennessee and one in Virginia — to display artifacts from the show.
Most years there is an event near one of the two Cooter’s called Hazzard Fest. The one or two day event usually includes the stars of the show signing autographs, stunt shows, and wrestling.
